Acceptable Use Policy
The short version: publish things you would put your own name to, because you are about to. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.
Effective 26 August 2026.
1 What this covers #
This policy applies to everything you do with Troofrnd — what you generate, what you publish, and how you use the service itself. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service, and breaching it breaches those terms.
2 Content you must not create or publish #
- Anything unlawful under Indian law, or under the law where you or your audience are.
- Anything that infringes copyright, trade marks, trade secrets, privacy or publicity rights.
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or content promoting hatred or violence against people on the basis of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar characteristic.
- Sexually explicit material, and anything at all involving minors.
- Deliberate misinformation, deceptive claims, or fabricated statistics, quotations, endorsements or case studies.
- Impersonation of a person, company or public authority, or content that falsely implies affiliation with one.
- Content that reveals someone else’s personal data without a lawful basis for doing so.
- Malware, phishing, or links to either.
3 Do not misrepresent our fact-checking #
Troofrnd links factual claims to sources and checks a draft against them before you can approve it. That check is meaningful, which is exactly why misusing its name is a problem.
Do not describe content as source-verified, evidence-backed or fact-checked by Troofrnd where you edited the claims after the checks ran, where you replaced a cited figure with your own, or where the checks were bypassed. Say what is true about how the content was made.
4 How you must behave on LinkedIn #
You remain bound by LinkedIn’s User Agreement and its professional community policies. In particular, do not use Troofrnd as part of any scheme to:
- send bulk unsolicited outreach, connection requests or messages;
- operate networks of accounts, engagement pods, or any arrangement for reciprocal artificial engagement;
- run an account that is not yours, or that does not represent a real person;
- drive traffic to fraudulent offers, undisclosed paid promotion, or anything you would not defend publicly.
5 How you must treat the service #
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, prompts or models behind Troofrnd.
- Do not scrape the service, or access it by any automated means other than an interface we provide for that purpose.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service, or attempt to access another customer’s account or data. Responsible disclosure is welcome — clause 8.
- Do not circumvent credit allowances, rate limits or plan entitlements, or share one account across an organisation that should hold several.
- Do not resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written agreement.
- Do not use the service to build a competing product, or to generate training data for one.
- Do not place a load on the service designed to degrade it for anyone else.
6 What we do about breaches #
Normally in this order:
- A warning, describing what we saw and what needs to change.
- Suspension of the account or a feature, if it continues or is not resolved.
- Termination, for repeated or unresolved breaches.
We skip straight to suspension or termination where a breach is serious — illegality, risk to other users, risk to the service, or content involving minors. We may also be required to report unlawful content to the authorities.
Accounts terminated for breach are not refunded. See clause 3 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7 Reporting something #
To report content published through Troofrnd that breaches this policy, or any other misuse, write to support@troofrnd.com. Complaints can also go to our Grievance Officer, named on the contact page, who acknowledges within 24 hours and resolves within 15 days.
8 Security researchers #
If you find a vulnerability, tell us at support@troofrnd.com before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Do not access, modify or delete data that is not yours, and do not degrade the service while testing. We will not pursue action against research conducted in good faith on those terms.
