Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Punyakriya Industries Private Limited for your use of Troofrnd. Please read clause 9 — it is about your LinkedIn account, and it is the one that costs people money when they skip it.

Effective 26 August 2026.

1 Who you are agreeing with #

Troofrnd is operated by Punyakriya Industries Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India, CIN U46202MH2024PTC428245, with its registered office at Shop No. 4, Building No. 2, Tilak Nagar, Shramik CHS, Chembur West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400089, India. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Troofrnd” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organisation using the service.

By creating an account, or by using Troofrnd in any way, you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

These terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy. Together they are the whole of the agreement.

2 What the service does #

Troofrnd learns what you write about, gathers published news and other source material, and drafts LinkedIn posts grounded in that material. It can generate images, hold drafts for your approval, and publish or schedule approved posts to your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn’s official API.

We may change, add to or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell you before it takes effect.

3 You are the publisher #

Troofrnd drafts. You approve. The post goes out under your name, to your audience, as your statement. Nothing is published to your LinkedIn account without your approval of that specific post.

You are responsible for what you publish. That responsibility does not shift to us because a draft was machine-generated, and it is not reduced by any check the service performed before you approved it.

4 What our fact-checking means, and what it does not #

Factual sentences in a generated draft are linked to a specific piece of source material, and a draft is checked against those sources before it can be approved. A draft that fails is blocked and shown to you for editing rather than published.

That check tests whether a claim is supported by the source we cited. It does not test whether the source is correct, current, or honest, and it is not a warranty that any statement in a draft is true. Generative models produce plausible text and can be wrong in ways that are difficult to spot.

Read every draft before you approve it. The checks reduce the number of unsupported claims that reach you; they do not remove your need to read what you are about to publish under your own name.

5 We do not promise reach #

Troofrnd does not predict how a post will perform, and we deliberately do not show you a predicted reach, view count or virality score anywhere in the product. No statement by us — on this site, in the app, or in any marketing — is a promise of impressions, followers, engagement, leads or revenue.

Where the product ranks or prioritises ideas, it is applying your stated preferences. That is a ranking, not a forecast.

6 Your account #

You must be at least 18 years old. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us at support@troofrnd.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account is for one person or one organisation. Do not share credentials with people outside it.

7 Plans, credits and payment #

Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees in advance, on the cycle shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are stated inclusive or exclusive of GST as shown at checkout; where GST applies we charge it and issue a tax invoice against GSTIN 27AAOCP8841K1ZN.

Plans include an allowance of credits, which are consumed when the service does paid work for you such as generating a draft or an image. Credits reset each billing cycle and do not carry over unless your plan says so. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

Payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full card details. You confirm the payment method you use is yours and that you are authorised to use it.

8 Cancellation, refunds and price changes #

You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which gives you seven days from your first paid subscription.

We may change prices. A change to the price of an existing subscription takes effect only from the next renewal, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before it does. Continuing to use a paid plan after that notice period is acceptance of the new price; if you would rather not, cancel before the renewal.

9 LinkedIn is a third party, and your account there is your risk #

Troofrnd connects to LinkedIn through LinkedIn’s official API, using permissions you grant and can revoke. We use it to publish posts you have approved and to read analytics for your own posts. We do not scrape LinkedIn, we do not automate connection requests, comments, reactions, follows or messages, and we do not operate your account on your behalf beyond publishing what you have approved.

Your use of LinkedIn remains governed by LinkedIn’s own User Agreement and policies. You are responsible for complying with them. LinkedIn is not a party to this agreement, does not endorse Troofrnd, and may restrict, suspend or terminate any member account at its own discretion.

If LinkedIn restricts or removes your account, your content, or your access, we cannot reverse it and we are not liable for it. This is true even where the restriction follows something you published through Troofrnd.

10 Limits we do not control #

Two limits come from LinkedIn rather than from us, and both can interrupt the service in ways you should expect:

  • Your connection expires. LinkedIn access tokens for applications like ours last 60 days and cannot be renewed silently. When yours expires you must reconnect. A post scheduled for a time after your connection has expired will not publish. We will prompt you to reconnect, but keeping the connection live is ultimately yours to do.
  • Daily publishing limits. LinkedIn caps how many API requests can be made for a member each day, and a post with an image costs several. Publishing may be deferred if you reach that cap.

Neither is a defect in the service, and neither on its own entitles you to a refund.

11 Your content, and the licence you give us #

You keep ownership of everything you put into Troofrnd and everything you publish through it. As between you and us, drafts generated for you are yours to use, edit, publish and keep after you stop using the service.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, display and process your content strictly so that we can run the service for you — generating drafts, publishing what you approve, showing you your own library. It exists so the product can function and for no other purpose. It ends when you delete the content or your account, save for backups that expire on their normal cycle.

We do not sell your content, publish it anywhere you have not asked us to, or show it to other customers.

12 Generated content, and its limits #

Generative models can produce output that is similar to output produced for someone else from a similar prompt, and the copyright status of machine-generated text and images is unsettled in India and elsewhere. We therefore do not warrant that generated output is original, that it is protectable, or that publishing it will not infringe a third party’s rights. Where output matters commercially, check it.

You must not present Troofrnd output as fact-checked or source-verified where you have edited it after its checks were run, or where you bypassed them.

13 Acceptable use #

Your use of Troofrnd is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, and without limiting it: nothing illegal, infringing, deceptive, harassing or hateful; no spam or bulk unsolicited outreach; no impersonation; no scraping, reverse engineering or probing of the service; and nothing that breaches LinkedIn’s terms.

We may warn, suspend or terminate an account that breaches that policy. Where a breach is serious — illegality, or conduct that puts other users or the service at risk — we may suspend immediately and without notice.

14 Our intellectual property #

The service itself — the software, the design system, the Troofrnd name and marks, and everything on this site other than your content — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service, and nothing more.

If you send us feedback, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them without restriction and without owing you anything. You are not obliged to send them.

15 Service is provided as is #

To the fullest extent the law permits, Troofrnd is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that generated content will be accurate or suitable, or that the service will produce any particular commercial result.

16 Limitation of liability #

To the fullest extent the law permits, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost goodwill or lost data, however caused.

To the fullest extent the law permits, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this agreement is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17 Indemnity #

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you published through the service, from your breach of this agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy, or from your breach of a third party’s rights or of LinkedIn’s terms.

18 Suspension and termination #

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of this agreement, for non-payment, or where we are required to by law.

On termination your right to use the service ends. We will delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you delete your account. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, liability, indemnity, governing law — survive it.

19 Changes to these terms #

We may amend these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and cancel before it takes effect.

20 Governing law and jurisdiction #

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with it.

Before starting proceedings, please write to legal@troofrnd.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most things are settled faster this way than by either of us instructing lawyers.

21 General #

If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it to a successor in a merger or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
